Same sex marriages are no longer allowed in indiana.

A Federal Court of Appeals has granted a stay, filed by Attorney General Greg Zoeller. This means the traditional marriage definition is, once again, law and same sex marriages will not be granted. There are cheers coming from those opposed to same sex marriage, but this latest development means it’s going to strengthen the fight from those who want same sex marriage.
Hundreds of same sex couples already exchanged vows to mark the start of their lives together. Many thought the fight was over. So what about the couples that have already gotten married?
“It’s our position that they are valid,” said Ken Falk, with the Indiana ACLU. “I believe in other jurisdictions where this has happened the Federal government has recognized those marriages. I would hope Indiana would as well.”
